Sorry to hear that. It is just general bad manners to be a "no show" unless something really serious comes up and you cannot access a phone or pc.

On another note, there was a business that I was slightly interested in but they would not reveal the product name. I requested the information and was sent a packet with motivational information and testimonials but still no company name. I even emailed the rep and she would still not reveal the product or company name but told me that if I set up an appointment with her that I could find out eventually, so I did set up the tele-conference.

I finally got frustrated and researched the website and phone number all over the internet. After some extensive searching I finally found it! It was a company that I had already reviewed in the past but was definitely not interested in. I then called her and asked directly "Is this for (product name) distribution?" She then went through a long explanation of how they make so much money and I should sign up anyway even though I was not interested. (I never signup for anything that I am genuinely not interested in, especially when there are fees involved. Why waste my time and theirs?)

I had to ask her again before she finally admitted that was the product. I then told her I was not interested at all and to cancel my tele-conference.

Anyway, the point of the story is that people really should have the decency to cancel, or better yet not setup the appointment in the first place if they are not intersted. Time is money. I was not interested in the product but I still called to cancel so she could free up her schedule for someone else.
