I live south of Buffalo NY and while we don't get as hot & muggy as places like North Carolina, I really HATE the humidity/stickiness.

I actually like cooler/colder temperatures better...anyone else? :D

i live in the high desert of calif. elevation 4200 ft. our 'high' humidity days are when it reaches 15%.......
i prefer spring and fall over winter and summer, but my favorite temp is anything above 60 and under 100.

have a great day.

Beanie :-)

I agree with you! I am also in NY and although it has been cool, the rain has made it humid and I can't stand it! For me the cooler the better. My sister in law is originally from Nashville and she was actually jealous that people in Nashville were having 90 degree weather!!!

I grew up in Southern California, use to get hot or at least I thought it was until I moved to Missouri - I can not stand the humidity - At least in California you were HOT because of the temp and I did not feel all sweaty and wet - but this Humidity that leaves you all damp, clothes sticking to you - yuck!

There is a running joke here, with family and friends - they laugh at me and that is ok by me ! One day some of them were complaining about it being Hot - I said "it's not Hot, the actual temp really isn't that bad it's cause it's Humidy" They all kept saying no Tonja the word is Humidity - I said I know what the word is but have created my own word for describing how the temp is outside ! Well everyone laughs, but they all say "Boy it's humidy" Even some of my online friends tease me and ask how's the humidy there today

OK I know that is lame, but hey I am sharen deep things with you all :p

LOL Tonja that is funny. I've visited some western states and their dry heat seems much more tolerable than our "humidy" ;) :p :D
