please don't tell me you ladies do not use fillers when you send out an order.... the cheapest and easiest way to cross promote and get the word out to a paying customer and you are not using it?? oh heavens......

Are business cards acceptable as fillers?

yes, oh my yes!! what i used to do, was print out index card size biz cards on regular paper, cut them with a good table top cutting board, (scissors and uneven lines are soooooooooo tacky) and use those as fillers. you can use different color paper, change the fonts, wording, make a special code for the different people you are exchanging fillers with..... go wild!! the fillers are going to customers that you know are buying... they want to find other business that will meet thier needs.... what better form of advertising, reaching the target market.

no, i sent them out index card sized. i was thinking bigger than a biz card. i was trying to get as much info about my biz as i could. used bigger fonts and gave more ideas as to why to look at my sebsite.
you can send out biz cards. but i liked the idea of colorful paper and bigger flyers

i used the cutting board at my local kinkos, and i have also used my sewing cutting mat with a ruler and my rotary cutter.

What a great idea. I use to have a store on ebay before the fee's got to much. I always used business cards but an index card would have been much better. Thanks for the idea.

Fillers...yeah. Great idea. But I work with a drop shipper...I wonder what I could send them to include. That is...if they'd remember to include it...

with the drop shipper, what i would do, is when you send a thank you note to the customer for thier purchase, include the fillers then. say thank you for your recent purchase and here are a few of my network people that you might want to check out as well.
just a thought.

We make bookmarks for our craft site. Well Cait makes most of them.
We have a fiscar paper cutting board. Since we cut all of our own card stock we also have all of the fancy blades. For the Farmacy I have made all of my business cards. I like to keep them regular size, when some one gives me a card I have a Rolodex they go in. So the bigger ones don't fit. I live 99.999% in an RV, so smaller is better. I have also scanned them and keep them on a SD card. I do that when I get a page full of 1 topic.
Just my thoughts,
Sheryl

Good advice. I'll have to get the crafty side of my brain working. :D
