Frugal moms, do you have a favorite splurge?

I am frugal most of the time but every single Friday when my husband stops at the store on his way home he picks me up a Woman's World magazine. I just love that magazine and enjoy the different diet listed each week. Plus, for $1.49 I get a few hours of enjoyment and also some great recipes!
So what does everyone else splurge on once in a while?

For my son he is really into Thomas the Train and has quite a few of the wooden ones from Christmas and his birthday. These are rather pricy but I have discovered that Michaels carries these. Now every once in a while we like to get him one with the 40% off coupons Michaels offers each week in their Sunday flier. I am sure by Fall I will be picking them up each week and putting away for Christmas!

I splurge on eating out every now and then and when family is in town then I am awful! My sister is staying with us right now and I hate cooking for people so we have been eating a lot of takeout! :D

well money is tight right now with my husband losing his job, but my fave splurge -when I could..is either chocolate, scrapbook supplies, a magazine or my husband would pick up food late Friday nights (subs, chips, drinks).

I am the Queen of Frugal~ My big splurge is fancy smancy bath gel that I hide from the kids!!

My splurge is music. I won't copy CD's that I'm going to listen to on a regular basis. I don't buy alot, but when it's by one of my favorite artists I will buy it.

I also love seeing live music and tickets are really expensive now. I have my own fund to see my favorites too so when tickets do go on sale I have money put aside for it. I am also traveling across the country to see my favorite band. I have enough for the plane ticket so far :) I feel kind of guilty though going somewhere without my family. :(

I'm such a dork...but I LOVE my weekly STAR magazine. It's just a brief escape from the real world for a few minutes each week.

I rarely ever buy anything at full price! I just can't do it! But I do splurge and get smoothies whenever I can. I don't even cringe at the price and I know they are way overpriced for a fruit drink. But I just can't live without them! There is nothing like walking through the mall just to have an ice-cold strawberry smoothie! Sigh - I may need to go get one today!

getting my hair done,its 1/2 hour of having someone doing something just for me and i feel so much better about myself when my hair looks good!

My favorite splurge is a Starbucks Cafe Mocha, usually when I'm headed out to garage sales on a Saturday morning. Once a month isn't too bad for a little treat!
