Rootbeer Float-Sicles

1 liter of rootbeer
1 gallon of vanilla ice cream


Spoon some ice cream into plastic popsicle containers.
Fill the containers with root beer (pour slowly-it will fizz a little).
Put popsicle sticks on top and freeze for several hours.

What a good idea - If it is alright with you, I will add this to my list of recipes for the Tupperware Ice Tups , these are selling well with it being so hot and I like to give out recipes to use with them - I would have NEVER thought to do this- And who doesn't like Rootbeer Floats !

Hi Tonja, What a great idea. I haven't had a root beer float in years but i think will soon. I'd love to try this for my grandkids but I was thinking , what if I left the soda out for a while so it would get flat. What do you think?

Don't know why it wouldn't work - would keep it from fizzing and maybe keep it from maken a mess LOL
