Does anyone have an ezine I can advertise in?
What are the costs?
And how many subscribers do you have?

I have a weekly newsletter targeted to Christian Mothers. I currently have over 400 subscribers (411 to be exact ;) ). My prices range from $2.00 - $18.00. I offer solo ads, buttons, banners, and text.
Here is a direct link to the newsletter ad info:
Also, you may want to scroll to the top of the ad page...we are running a GREAT anniversary special for the entire month of July! :)

Wow, that is an excellent bargain. Just out of curiousity, how did you get 411 subscribers? I have about 20 subscribers to my emailed newsletter and had to struggle for those 20.
Any tips would be appreciated.

I just wanted to mention that the thing that has worked the best for me is holding contests on my website, and then on the entry form having a check box to subscribe to my various ezines. I personally leave the boxes unchecked (making them check them) but some people leave them checked where people have to uncheck them to not be subscribed. It's just what you're more comfortable with. ;)
Doing this, I have gotten a new newsletter going in the past year that has almost 8,000 subs, and my old newsletter has now grown to over 9,000. These are "clean" lists, no bounces or false addresses. (make sure you make sure when you are looking to buy advertising in an ezine you ask if those people are active memebers, not bouncing, on nomail, etc - it's easy to say you have 20,000 members, but if 2/3 of them are old e-mail addresses that bounce, it's no good to you!)
Since I have websites/ezines that are related to parenting, I usually run contests that giveaway parenting goodies. This way I'm still attracting people who are in my target audience, and are not as likely to unsubscribe at a later date. I loose about 5-10 people a month, between both ezines. I gain way more than that. So it must be working. :)
I just thought I'd share - it's simple, easy, and if done right, really effective! Just make sure you promote your contests, there are lots of great free places to promote them besides your site.
