Hi all,
We just bought a new house with a in-ground pool. Sounds great doesn't it? Well, I'm just a little concerned about my 5-year-old headstrong little girl trying to get in the pool without permission.
The pool is not fenced in. I'm having my husband put chimes on the doors so I can hear if any of them open. I'm also having him put a lock up higher on the doors. My concerns with that are that she will try to climb up to the lock, or it wouldn't be good in case of fire.
I'm very paranoid about her and safety. We have discussed that there will only be certain times that we will go out and swim (she would stay in there all day if we let her) and I have asked her numerous times what the rule is..."never swim without a grown up," but I'm still a little nervous.
