Has anyone ever went through Geocities for a site..its from Yahoo

I am designing a new website and message board....(I am still on the hunt for a good board lol)I am considering Geocities and was wondering if any of you went through them?The package I am getting inclides domain and 5 email addresses plus alot of other features.I just want some feedback and if you know of any other companies that provide websites let me know.I am wanting to buy on Friday.Thanks a million in advance! :)

Hi, I've never used the paid service for Geocities/Yahoo, but if you're looking for a message board, ProBoards has a free message board that you could start with:

Also, Bravenet has free and paid hosting, and a lot of services. Web Hosting, Free Web Hosting and Web Tools from Bravenet.com. (http://www.bravenet.com)

I didnt realize I had this post on here still!Thanks for the suggestions.I have used Godaddy for my domain and found a forum lol...anyways still working on the website issue.Thanks for the ideas!
