Here's a game that I've seen done at wedding showers and I'm going to try to modify it for my home sales parties.
Have you seen the tray game? Like for a baby shower, you put baby items (safety things, nail clippers, nose aspirator, etc.) then you walk around the room showing the tray and have the mom take the tray out of the room. Then, each guest is supposed to try to write down all the things they remember from the tray.
For a wedding shower, we safety pinned utensils tied on ribbons to aprons and had the couples walk around then leave the room. Instead of asking the guests to write down the utensils they remembered, the questions were things like "Was the bride wearing socks? Was her hair in a ponytail? What color was the groom's shirt?" It was fun, because the guests were trying desparately to memorize all the stuff on the aprons.
I'm thinking for my show, I might put some pieces of jewelry and some loose beads in a basket or on a tray, have the hostess carry it around, then leave the room and then have her guests describe her hair, outfit, jewelry she's wearing etc. Just something to get the hostess moving around and receiving spotlighted attention.
BTW, in the shower games, we always gave the guest of honor the prize ... they got to keep all the baby stuff or the utensils. For the party game, I'll give the one who gets the most answers correct a half-price item or a $5 credit or something.
