Poppy Seed Chicken
Prep: 15 minutes
Bake: 30 minutes
3 cups chopped cooked chicken
1 (10 3/4-ounce) can cream of chicken soup, undiluted
1 (10 3/4-ounce) can cream of mushroom soup, undiluted
1 (16-ounce) container sour cream
1 cup (4 ounces) shredded Cheddar cheese
3 tablespoons poppy seeds
36 saltine crackers, crushed
1/4 cup butter or margarine, melted
1. Stir together first 4 ingredients. Spread half of mixture in a lightly greased 11- x 7-inch baking dish. Sprinkle with half of cheese and 1 tablespoon poppy seeds. Repeat layers. Top with cracker crumbs and remaining 1 tablespoon poppy seeds; drizzle with butter.
2. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes or until lightly browned. Yield: 6 to 8 servings.
