Chicken in Sour Cream Sauce
l-l/2 tsp. salt
l/4 tsp. pepper
l/4 tsp. paprika
l/4 tsp. lemon-pepper seasoning
6 boneless chicken breasts - skin removed
l can (10-3/4 oz.) condensed Cr Mush. soup
---undiluted
l cup (8 oz.) sour cream
l/2 cup dry white wine or chicken broth
l/2 lb. fresh mushrooms, sliced
Combine the first 4 ingredients; rub over chicken.
Place in a slow cooker.
In a separate bowl combine the soup, sour cream
and wine or broth: Stir in mushrooms.
Pour over checken.
Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hrs or until
chicken juices run clear.
Thicken the sauce if desired. Makes good gravy!
(Can be done in the oven; cook a shorter period
of time ... about 3 hrs. @ 325 degrees)
