French Fry Pie
Brown and chop up 1 lb.sausage and 1/2 cups onions. While that's cooking, mix 3 cups flour, 1 cup shortning, 3 tsp. salt and enough COLD water to just hold together. Roll out, and place in large pie pan. When sausage is cooked, add 4 cups frozen french fried potatoes, 2 tsp. salt, 1/2 tsp. pepper, 1/4 cup frozen chopped green pepper, 8 eggs, and 1 cup milk. Mix and pour into pie crust. Cover with 2 cups shredded cheese and bake 1/2 hour in 375 degree oven, or until potatoes are tender
