Close to Home

It's always mind blowing when something happens close to home. Yesterday my daughter was coming home and the road leading to our home was blocked off by police and YELLOW TAPE. She called and said "mom do they use yellow tape if no one died?" I really didn't know the answer.

We finally saw what happened about 6 hours later. A teen had been missing since Monday. She was hit by a hit and run and her body was in the bushes. It wasn't until yesterday that someone found her. This means that for 3 days both my daughter and I kept driving by not knowing this poor girl was there :(

Oh my goodness..that is just awful.Just like here in my town there was a father/son murder.The guy that killed them was there tenant and he killed them because they raised the rent by 10.00.(The guy dumped there bodies in the Ohio River.)This was a scary case because it was literally in our backyard.

We finally got a full story. I live really close to the freeway. If you walk to the other side of the freeway, it's about 30 minutes.

I guess this gal ran across the freeway and that's how she was hit. She was dumb but she didn't deserve to die and the person that hit her never should've driven off.
