Evite is an online party planning service that is free. I think it would be great for party planners, those in direct sales, and those who do online conferences. You can send an invitation out to anyone who you have an email address for and you can create open invitations that anyone can RSVP for. Evite also allows you to post your events in their directory. So you get a free advertisement for your event!
