Just had to share this silly story to add some humor to your day. Hope it helps!

My 2 1/2 yr old daughter had been potty training. She didn't understand the difference between pee & poop. She always said "I have to pee" even if she really had to poop.
SO finally one day I told her that pee & poop are 2 different things. I explained "pee goes tinkle tinkle and poop goes plop"

So now my daughter says " I Have to Plop"

ummm...wait...she doesn't say it...she ANNOUNCES it! I've had to explain to her grandparents and sitters that "plop" means poop....how odd!

ROFL....oh those darn Kids!

I had to read your story because my middle son and I had some "issues" surrounding potty-training. He was trained ... just to go in a pull-up. And this was 1 month before his 5th birthday!!! He would go in the bathroom, pull off his clothes, put on a pull-up, poop, then I would help him clean up and he would get dressed again.

Never an accident ... just WOULDN'T go poop in the potty. So, one day I mentioned it to the pediatrician and she asked him why he wouldn't poop in the potty. He said he didn't know why, so she told him to have Dad come with him in the bathroom, both of them sit on their own potties, talk, play cards, read, whatever ... and just hang out. Well, that went on for about 3 days with nothing. Then, Geoffrey just walked past me one day into the bathroom, came back out and said "I pooped in the potty!"

I couldn't believe it! So, I asked him why he did it now after not doing it for so long. His simple reply? "Because the Doctor told me to!" I could have had that doctor "tell" him to years before!!!!

You know how they say "don't worry, nobody goes to kindergarten in a diaper"? Well, I was worried we might just be carrying a pull-up in the backpack! :)
