jackandtripp.com - unique items for the unique baby
Hi - My name is Marylou and I am a new SAHM to a 6 month old. He is the light of my life. To make a long story short, like all SAHM, I am trying to make ends meet. To that end, my friend Kate and I started a business importing baby items from New Zealand. It all began in April 2005, when we began taking our sons, Jack and Tripp, for strolls together on the boardwalks of Ventnor, New Jersey. At the time, Jack was fifteen-months-old, and Tripp was a mere two-months old. During a walk one chilly day, Tripp’s socks repeatedly slid off his feet, much to my frustration. Kate was inspired to tell me about booties that never slip off—a calfskin pair she found for Jack on a recent trip to her native New Zealand. She continued to rave so much about them that I purchased a pair for Tripp and instantly fell in love with the fashionable, comfortable booties. Not only are they beautiful – they stay on! Another wonderful note - the lambskin & calfskin baby booties are handmade in New Zealand from the hides of animals that have died of natural causes.

However, finding and buying the booties were no easy tasks. Kate and I knew that other parents would want a pair for their own children once they saw how unique and useful they were—but only if they were easily available. And so, JackandTripp.com—unique items for the unique baby—was born!
