I just am so upset!!!!

I am going through a really tough time within my household,and the people that are supposed to help you with your gas and electric-HEAP told me that I didnt bring in all my information!I brought in everything on the list and then some.They claim that they need proof of unemployment benefits and a layoff letter from my hubby's work!The proof of benefits is on my bank statement!I am so angry!My electric we can deal with its not that high,but the gas is a different story!At least now it is starting to warm up.I really am angry.My husband just started back to work,not at the same place but at least he is working.I am going to start my new biz here next month and then this HEAP bs.I have until the 28th to get all my paperwork in,ARGGGGGG. :mad:

Thank you I really appreciate that!Things are looking up slowly,but it just seems so hard sometimes!

Well I have another rant!my husband has started back to work through a temp agency and they mailed his check and it hasnt come,it is 3 days late and they will not put a stop payment on it and issue a new one!They say that he put the wrong addy on it but he changed it to the right one,becuase they had the wrong one in the system!Even if it was the wrong one the postal service would forward it!We checked with the postal service and thay said nothing with his name came through!He basically worked for free and we are pissed off!He says that they should cut him a new check and I agree!What would you all do?What can we do?

I would go talk to his supervisor, explain the situation & go from there. Or ask a receptionist where he works if his check came back to the company.They may issue him another one.

he finally got his check and its all cleared up!Thank goodness!They mailed it to the wrong address so now he just goes and picks it up.

They are getting better,but it is going to take a few months to get everything on track.I am hoping that the IRS will take a settlement,I hate owing back taxes :eek: Anyways I will be finally starting a new biz in June!My board has been keeping me busy and occupied as wellas taking care of my daughter.My husband is back to work and its steady so hopefully things will only get better! :)

I completely understand!! They make you jump through soooo many hoops!! I think they just want to see how much you really want it!! I sent the private school tuition help scholarship info in On time!! Every week I was getting a letter from them stating that it was on hold because I did not submit something they needed. The think is I know I had!! So then I had to go through the trouble and expense of faxing it in, plus wondering where the heck my personal financial info was floating around that I know I sent!! Erg!!
