I know many of you are in sales based businesses and I'm doing a service based (I'm a virtual ***istant) but I need to blow off some steam.
One of my services is transcription and it's usually pretty good, some files are better than others but that's how it goes. This weekend I was working on one where it was an interview and the interviewee never finished a complete sentence through the entire recording. They'd start to say something, switch over to something else and then move on to another thought. I'm not required to transcribe verbatim for this client but I am supposed to make the interview have a good flow and make sense. HA! This thing took me 2 hours longer than normal because I had to try to make sense of this person's ramblings.
Thank goodness I'm finally done and that I get paid by the hour.
