Well, this is an accomplishment for me. I went to the salon today and brought with me a couple of "Chicken Soup for the Healthy Soul" books which focus on our products and asked the owner if I could leave them at the salon for people to look at when they are under the dryer or something.
Doesn't sound like a big deal, but I am generally not ***ertive enough to put myself out there, but I figured the worse she can say is "no" - and even with a "no", I have shared my business with her if not with her entire clientele.
Small victory for me!
