adsense and wordpres?

Does anybody have an idea how you can add adsense to a wordpress blog?

I want to start a blog but im not sure how it is done?
You input/assistant will be highly appreciated...

If you are hosting your blog somewhere OTHER than Wordpress.com, then yes, you can use Adsense. If your blog is a wordpress.com site, then the answer is no.

And if you're running a WP blog on your own domain, there are even "Adsense" ready templates that have a column specifically for ads. I'm using one on my site. Well, one of my sites.
