Peanut Butter & Jelly French Toast
Peanut Butter & Jelly French Toast
Take 2 slices of bread. Make your normal Peanut Butter and Jelly sandwich. (some people like more peanut butter, some more jelly) Whatever your preference- It is fine.
In a medium sized bowl take 2 eggs (beaten) add 1/4 tsp of vanilla.
dash of cinnamon (if desired)
Beat these ingredients together.
Dip the pre made Peanut butter & Jelly sandwich in the egg mixture (coating both sides)
Heat a small amount of butter or margarine in a skillet.
Add the Peanut Butter and Jelly sandwich to the skillet.
Cook on both sides until lightly brown and the Peanut butter is gooey. (3 to 4 minutes depending on your settings)
Garnish as you like.
This recipe needs no syrup, but if you like you may add powdered sugar for color.
Note: This recipe is very filling so if you are cooking for smaller children, start with a 1/2 sandwich each.
