1/2 cup (1 stick) butter or margarine
3/4 cup of baking cocoa
1 & 1/3rd cup of sweetened condensed milk
4 & 1/2 cup of confectioners' sugar
2 tsp of vanilla extract
1 cup of chopped pecans
1 cup of pecan halves
Melt the butter in a saucepan over medium low heat. Add the baking cocoa and blend well. Stir in the condensed milk. Bring to a boil over low heat. Remove from heat. Add the confectioners' sugar and vanilla and beat until smooth. Stir in chopped pecans. Pour into a foil-lined 9 x9" pan.Arrange the pecan halves over the top of the fudge. Let stand or chill untill firm. Cut into squares. Makes 2.5 lbs.
