Simply Delicious Sausage Strata
2lbs. bulk sausage, 1 onion chopped, 2 tsp. yellow mustard, 12-14 slices bread(crust removed), 1lb. mozeralla cheese(shredded), 8 eggs, 4 cups milk, 1 tsp. worcestershire sauce, salt and pepper to taste. Additional mushrooms. Day before prepare strata. Grease baking pan, in large sillet, saute onion and sausage till sausage is browned. Drain fat. Stir in mustard and salt and pepper. Arrange bread in bottom of pan. Top with sausage mixture and cheese.( mushrooms may be added here) Mix together beaten eggs, milk and worcestershire sauce. Pour over mixture in pan. Cover tightly and refrigerate overnight. Bake 350 degrees uncovered 50 min. or till set.
