Pot O' Chili
2 lg. cans tomato juice
1 lg. can red kidney beans, drained & rinsed
1 green pepper, chopped
1 red pepper, chopped
1 lg. onion, chopped
1 lb. ground meat, browned & drained
1 T. garlic powder
2 T. chili powder, or to taste
In crock pot, combine tomato juice, kidney beans, pepper & onion. Cook on high, uncovered for about 2-4 hours. Add remaining ingredients. Cover and cook on low for another 3-5 hours or as long as you want. Gets thicker and better tasting the longer you cook it. Serve with garlic toast sticks or biscuits, and salad. Makes 10-12 servings.
