Homestyle Beef Sroganoff
flour
1 1/2 lb. cubed meat (round steak)
1 small onion chopped
3 cups water
1 can mushrooms
1 stick butter
2 t. beef bouillon
garlic to suit taste
1 (8 oz) sour cream
Melt butter in large pan; add chopped onions. Flour, salt and pepper cubed meat and brown in melted butter. Add garlic, beef bouillon and drained mushrooms. Add 3 cups of water and turn to low heat - cook slowly until meat is tender - at least 1 hour. Just before ready to serve, stir in sour cream.
