One of those Days!

I cant stand it when someone Requests more info through my website then when I call them they swear that they didnt do it!
I mean geez it comes straight to my e-mail and I call them if i am at the puter then they deny it..I had some lady call me names today that I hadnt heard since I was kids....lol
but at least it doesnt happen often..Most people are awesome to talk to!

I remember all that well. Also the hours spent on the phone with people who then fall off the face of the earth.

One thing I learned was to pace myself with 4 questions, and a kitchen timer. I then gave them an "assignment", like: call me when you read the info, email me and tell me what you think, etc. If they did not pass this test, I did not bother with them anymore.

Oh I know...I always hated that when that would happen...they would swear up and down that they never requested the info.Or the ones that tell you to call at a specific time and there not even home when you call!I know everyone has busy schedules but comon at least a callback would be nice.I can always tell the people that are serious and those that are not!

I think what sometimes happens is that folks fill out the info and think they will get more info, not a phone call. When you call, they panic. Truly one can say "hey I want to do this" and after they click send, they think "nah, this is not for me". Making a decision to start a business is a really big decision, not one to make in 3 seconds with no thought.

I would just say "I'm sorry someone filled out your information on my site, have a great night" and then hang up.

Who knows...if you are kind they just might email you again

You're right Audrey. And Many times they will come back & be a regular customer and great friends. You just never know.
