Ok - just have to vent for a minute -

I have signed up several new reps in the last few weeks - did the first in person training with them - well we are leaving for vacation so I talked with them and asked if it would be OK if we did a group training - since they all live within an hour of each other - they all agreed that would be awesome and fun -
In the meantime three of them complained to our DM that I was not getting them trained fast enough - well actually now all the basic training courses are online and our in person training is re-inforcement and a supplement.

OK - so I sent out three possible dates - asked everyone to respond with 1st and 2nd choice - or at least 1st choice

No response

So I set a date and time last week for tonite - sent out a note, called everyone and asked them to let me know before Sunday if they could come or not - where we are having it is an hour drive for me - well only one responded either by phone or e-mail - and she said no - one said she was working there part time so might be working there that day - well that doesn't work with training - So against my better judgement - ( I don't like to enable) I did call everyone yesterday - a couple forgot all about it and said no, the rest did not answer or I left messages for.

I was so frustrated - I spent time getting ready, arranging a place (free tho) Why do people get like that ??- and only one of the whole bunch has even started the online training courses. Some of these folks seemed pretty bright and motivated too - but now it's like they can't figure out how to read how to register on the website even tho they are computer savy - go figure

Ok - I'm all better now - just stressed trying to get everything done before we leave and get frustrated by inconsiderate people - Hopefully they won't call a hundred times while I'm on vacation with questions - ........

Ok - back to organizing and packing
Thanks for listening - I'd love to hear others stories - you know misery loves company and of course if you figured out how to increase accountability I'd love to hear that too

I hope you have a wonderful vacation.

Maybe after you get back, you'll be able to schedule a meeting and you'll get better attendance. Summers can sometimes be difficult with so many different schedules and vacations and such.

There is always the possibility these gals will start selling without training. Wouldn't that be awesome to come home to?

I know that it can be frustrating!My DM that I had when I was in Avon told me that all I needed to know was on the avon website and I did go through most of what they offered and that was a tremendous help!What you are doing for your team is great.I agree that summertime is hectic and probably alot of vacations being taken.Have a good vacation!
