Re: I think I'm done.
Have you looked into small craft shows - weekend ones at a local church, park or school?
I know that depends alot on where you live. I belong to many free forums like this one - but if your site is not up that will not get you to far.
Have you ever seen a zoomshare site? We have a free one for family pics. I have set up the crafts site one at $6.95 a month - my 12 y/o runs it so it had to be simple. But even the free one could show pics.
Just stay positive,
Sheryl

Re: I think I'm done.
Robyn,
Great job!!!
I encourage you to set a goal of how many times per week you'll put up new posts.
For me personally, I have found it quite challenging to post with consistancy.
You are rockin!!!

Re: I think I'm done.
would it be unprofessional of me to post my business goals there in the blog? What else is appropriate to post? New products, when I get them, obviously, but what else?

Re: I think I'm done.
What is your goal with the blog? Why did you start it and what do you hope to accomplish?
Most folks with blogs wish to share their ideas, share their knowledge etc. You want others to get to know you.
So, yes, post your goals. Let others know who you are!!!

Re: I think I'm done.
I agree with Audrey. If I am going to do business - I will pick someone I feel like I know. I think if you have a new product you should let people know that you are excited about it. I would say to write it as if you were talking to a friend, not writing an ad. Just remember who the people are that would be interested in your product.
Stay positive,
Sheryl

Re: I think I'm done.
So would it be bad if I post my articles both on my blog and with the article directory?
ETA: My reason for my blog is to get exposure and let people see what my product is and feel free to contact me with any questions they have.

Re: I think I'm done.
Robyn,
This is just a thought but yahoo has lots of different groups you can join. I advertise my business in about six different groups four of those groups are within a hundred mile radius of my home. Just set you up a yahoo email because you will get alot of emails pertaining to the groups. Its a great and free way to advertise and you are advertising to people who want to see what products you have. Just a thought. I just started with my company for about a month and it gets discouraging when no one is buying but hang in there Christmas is around the corner and I'm sure sells with pick up for everyone :0)
Also if you ever need an ear you can email me or message me. I know how it can be at times I am a mother of three. Keep your chin up :0)

Re: I think I'm done.
Robyn,
If you'd like some help, I've got a link to a free 60 page Work-At-Home-Mom ebook at my blog. Its been a great help to me, especially since it was written by WAHM's as well.
My Blog.
Good Luck,
Jeannie
