I think someone is spamming me somehow....

So I get leads that come in through the various sites that I advertise with. Today I got 5 leads from the same person each with a different phone number. Wouldn't you know that each of them were wrong numbers or disconnected. What is the point? If you are looking to information, why would you put in your own bogus information so no one can reach you! UGGGHHHH

ya know... I really think there are so many people that just don't have anything better to do - and it does nothing but put a burden on everyone else

Yes, I also find I have too much email, and too much spam. Have you tried to see if you can set up some filtering through your mail client (like outlook if you use that)? Maybe you can make it look for a few words, names, or phrases, or email addresses and either block them or filter them to your spam or delete folders.

The funny thing is they are spamming my leads site. So they are going to one of my work at home sites and putting in bogus information, but using the same name! Duh!

Thats awful!When they fill out the form is there anyway that you can block there ISP?Or at least report it?That would drive me nuts!

That is horrible. I'm so sorry you are having to deal with that. It would be wonderful if you had a way of tracking that person down and letting them no how important your time is to you and your family. Well, I hope things get better.

That stinks your going through that. It stinks that they do things like that. They dont want the informtion they want the free gift that they get for filling out the form. Most places that you get leads from puts them in the Pay to Click/read/what ever then people click them to get points which in turn means cash or prizes

I actually got one of those "help me cash this check" emails sent through the email address I use on message boards. I always heard about these but never received one before. It was actually kind of funny, I called my husband into the room to read it too!
