Arrow People who steal others articles!

Yup...that is MY vent for the day!

I can NOT believe we have losers online who run around and steal other peoples original articles....not only do they steal them...but they add in advertising, links and other garbage to the article and they remove the original authors signature tag.

Then to top it all off, they run around posting that article on the same dang forum boards that the original author is on....now how stupid is that?

UGH...some people!

Shelly,

I've seen your articles stolen a few times. Here's a tip; do a google search for one sentence from your article. See what comes up. If you find your article posted without you being given credit, write the owner of the website. I've found that 10 out of 10 times the website owner wants to do the right thing and will either remove YOUR article or will add your bio to it with their apologies.

I sent them a PM and told them they have to add my signature tag onto it and they must change the article back to its original format.

Luckily for me, I do have a business attorney that helps me with legal issues so if they don't fix the situation, they will hear from her. I am just fed up with this type of thing now.

Geez, unbelievable!! Sorry to hear that, Shelly. I remember not too long ago someone quoting one of your articles on a message board and someone went right after them to say it was yours and your name, etc. should be on there, too. And you're a member on that board, too.

Some people just have the biggest *$^%, don't they?? Go gettum.

Right! I used to check on things before...the past few months I have just been way too busy to keep up on things....we shouldn't have to run around looking for those ripping off our articles...just a shame that others are not intelligent enough on their own to come up with original material.

I think Shelly your articles are excellent because yours are the only ones I see being taken and used by other people. That tells you something huh?
I do see other articles being used by other people but they keep the sig line intact on those.

Everyone makes mistakes. I know I've found articles with no author credited. Ok...but Shelly sent the person messages which went unanswered. That is what makes it not ok.

I am still ticked about this as the article stealer has ignored all emails and PMs from me. The website owner where this stuff is posted as also ignored my requests to either add my info or remove the article.
