Default The Pot Holes of the journey......

This week was probably one of the toughest weeks in my three years in business. I hit three potholes in my journey toward success.

Has this ever happened to you?

You're driving down the road to success and just truly enjoying the journey. Then, out of no where your car hits a pot hole. Some pot holes are bigger than others. Some threaten your alignmnet. This week I hit such a big pothole I really had to check for damage.

But then I looked ahead to where my destination was and saw that I STILL wanted to get there. I'm not going to let these pot holes stop my journey. I put the air back in my tires, got an alignmnet and the journey continues.

Here is how I keep my tires filled and keep my vehicle in working order:

1. Talk with those that build me up (stay CLEAR of the nay sayers at this point)

2. Read books from those that have gone where I'm going

List of books I have on hand and read over and over:

Fire Up! (Jan Rhue)
The Difference Maker (John C. Maxwell)
Unstoppable Women (Cynthia Kersey)
The Traveler's Gift (Andy Andrews)
Rich Dad Poor Dad (Robert Kiyosaki)
The Wave 4 Way to Building Your Downline (Richard Poe)

3. Have times of reflection to keep myself grounded

4. Look at my WHY for doing my business and get focused again.

I have a training on "Developing your WHY"

- Home Based Business Resources -

May you allow your pot holes to be tools of progress instead of death to your business.

Gail,

Nice post. I think something has been in the air....you are not the first person to post about a few potholes or a few setbacks. I so love reading that folks recognize this will happen and look ahead and see where they're gonig and continue on. Congratulations!!

Gail,
Whoa, been there for sure! You have a great attitude about it all!
I loved Rich Dad Poor Dad, that is the book that set my husband on fire about getting us where we should be not the bumpy, pot holed road we were on.

Thanks for the post, it is reading feelings like that, that keep all of us going. Sometimes I don't think my hubby will ever be able to wrap his mind around our goals, but I have to be his "cheer" to keep him going.

Have a wonderful night!
Rhonda
