Just Wanted A Free Sample

I offer a free tealight sample to those that reply asking for more information about my company.
Now I'm wondering if maybe I shouldn't state this in my posts?
Does anyone else offer a free sample of their product to those interested in joining their company/business?

If it were me, I would limit free samples to people who actually spend money. Free tealight with first purchase, perhaps?

I agree! I used to offer free samples to folks who were interested in one of my companies and then someone put me on a few of those freebie seeker sites....within 3 days, I had over 1,000 requests for free samples.

I offer free scent samples. They don't cost me hardly anything so it isn't that bad.

Samples can be tricky,you may get a few good customers and perhaps some team members,do you have a follow up system for those that get the samples?Maybe offer the free sample and get there contact info and then follow up in a few days.Good luck.

That's a tough one! Unfortunately, there are a lot of people that just want freebies. I like the idea of a free tealight with purchase.

I can see both arguments! I think the sample can be an incentive to get more customers who would normally pass it by. But I'm sure others just want the freebie. Do you have some way of tracking how it works for you?
