New member and wahm

Hi everyone,

I just found this site today and thought it sounded like a great way to share ideas and network. I am new to site promotion, internet marketing and a first time mom to a 20 mos old son. I currently sale various products from t-shirts, hats, mugs and more for new parents, grandparents, kids and babies. I also sale products for stuff a friend, purple hippo and the appleberry market who carries soy candles, country home decor and gifts and more!

Hi everyone,

Thanks for the welcome. Busy is right...in between trying to promote my businesses I am chasing my 21 mos old son around.

It sounds like all of you have been doing sales for awhile? Any advice for a newbie?

I have 3 kids and they keep me busy too! Thank goodness my hubby is home and helps!

When I first started I spent the day with my kids and worked at nite....Becuase it was easier for me

You have a great board!You do seem to be very busy!Have you ever thought of submitting your links to directories?It may be a waste of time,but sometimes you can get it added for free!Even though I have my own board too I can put your link on my board or opffer you banner advertising!It is hard when you are first starting out,but the more you get your name out there,the better!You will find that this board is a great place to meet people and network!

Yes, I am busy and do find that I am up all hours of the night also trying to work. I am becoming a bit drained lately however.

Nattiesmom, what link directories are you talking about? I have exchanged links with some sites and wahm groups but am still trying to promote. I am getting a little discouraged because sales are low but I will keep trying. I just can't afford a lot right now since my cat got sick, my computer crashed and other unexpected expenses came up recently.
