It's not only Independence Day for the US, but my own very special Independence Day. I moved out of an oppressive 8-year relationship and have moved from Georgia to Vancouver, WA where my daughter has lived for years. It's so wonderful to be able to celebrate family and holidays!!!!
I know how the US feels to be FREE!!! I am too!!!

Congratulations to you!!! I know that takes alot of courage, and YOU DID IT!!

Heike! I still need your paypal addie.... you never sent a PM with it for the last paypal giveaway

Since this came up, I have a question...is this board only for WAHM moms? When I signed up I thought it was for all moms, but see it is geared more towards WAHM's and only 1 topic that is for Work away from home. I work full-time away from home, so not sure if this board fits for me.

Re: 4th of July $17.76 Paypal Giveaways!
Hi!
Moms Network is made up of close to 20 websites - with MomsNetwork.com geared toward the work at home mom - but we have SO many resources on the site that are for EVERY mom - including alot of the boards here.
If you are looking for a totally non work at home mom board - try our http://www.MomZone.com there are active boards there with more of the "just moms" talk - but please feel free to chime in here too :-)

Thank you, I will check out the other sites. It's not that I was looking for a totally non-WAHM board, I just didn't want to be in the wrong place. There are a lot of good resources here and I enjoy coming.
