Dear Momsnet: I would like to promote my home-based business in your magazine because I am a teacher by training, but had to find a way to replace my professional income working from home due to my diagnosis of multiple sclerosis. I want to encourage other women who are differently-abled that they have the ability to contribute just as much as their typically-abled peers to their families and society as a whole. If I can do it, they can, too!

Hmmm....well I would love to advertise my ministry Moms Group With a Purpose. I think it would reach alot of woman and help get the word out! I need it because I don't have a huge advertising budget, probably like most of us here!

I would be estactic to win the ad. My family has been having a very hard time for the past several months. During the summer of 2006, I lost my full time job. That put a huge strain on our household that still is there today. Soon after the loss of my job, I lost my car. An uninsured driver hit me, totaling out my (almost paid for) car. That left me in an even worse position because I had no job, I couldn't get a car financed. Luckily a friend helped out and I was able to get a car. All the while I still tried my best to carry on my part time online income. I've been marketing online since 2002, but still haven't got my "big break". I think if I could get an ad in a magazine that would offer a lot of exposure for my business. Please consider me.

I have made my 2007 resolutions to become more focused, and that means more targeted advertising. My target are moms (women) who want to live more natural and earth conscious. I realize that this is not easy, and parallel
with my businesses, I have just started a new blog that will journal how a "normal" mom of 2 living in suburbia goes on this venture .

A beautiful print ad in MomsNetwork Connections would definitely help jumpstart this process. I have even created an online splash page at Heike Online specifically for the purpose of print advertising, as this page represents the full circle. It represents "me" as a whole, instead of one business or another. This is one part of my new business concept.

Unfortunately, the ups & downs of being a WAHM do not always allow that we take advantage of GREAT opportunities like advertising, so getting a free ad in MomsNetwork Connections would mean that more of the Momsnetwork moms can make a choice to live more natural , maybe find a business in their passion, and help me jumpstart my business concept.

I remember my very first ad with MomsNetwork many, many years ago bringing in great leads and information.

I am a wahm Mom for 4 children ages 20,13,8 and 4 months. I am also 40 years old, I am a military wife living on my own until my husband can come back and rejoin us. The reason why we are not together is because when we were based in California, we found that the schools my boys attended were not meeting their special needs at all and so, we decided as a family to do what was best for THEM and decided to move back to the midwest even though I was 7 months pregnant at the time and considered high risk, we made the move. Hubby stayed with us for a week and then he had to go back to his CA duty base. Long story short, he came back for the birth of our daughter and tries to visit us once a month for a week at a time. Why do you need to know this? Because it has put a financial hardship on us due to running two households. He lives in an apartment and we have our home here where we live. There is no money for advertising, no money to buy leads for my candle business. Therefore, I would be so thrilled and proud to have this free ad in your magazine!

I hope you will consider me. It is hard to do my business with so much going on in my personal life, but I am plugging away hard and THIS opportunity certainly would help me share with others my home business opportunity!

I would love this free ad because I had to put my business on the backburner for most of last year due to my son developing severe respiratory problems. He is still sick but I have decided it is also time to start working on my business again!
I want 2007 to better in any way possible from my business to my sons health.
I think this would help me jumpstart my business again after being away from it for several months. But as always my family comes first so I had no problem letting my business go for a while. However I am back and READY to make my business BOOM! I have been wanting to do a magazine ad but due to the cost of my sons meds there wont be any extra money anytime soon but things like this keep me hopeful!
I am not saying I deserve to win over anyone else for we all have our reasons and are hoping and praying to win this!

ETA: I forgot to add about what I want to accomplish. I would have to say that I want to accomplish a couple things, Number one being more customers and helping other mothers learn how to earn a income from home and the other would be to advance in my company and try to catch up since I got so behind!

An ad that reaches 20,000 potential customers and team members would be a dream come true for me.

I started my business as a Cake 'n Crumbs Instructor in November of 2006. I hit the ground running, and completed 17 classes in less than 90 days. I added my first team member in the first 45 days of my business. I worked hard to get local newspaper articles and mentions. I am dedicated to making this business work, while still giving the time to my family (my husband and our four children, ages 6, 4, 3, and 8 months) and to my volunteer commitments (I am the Marketing Director for a non-profit that provides free prom dresses to young women in the Twin Cities area in need).

That said, I am going through a business rough patch - right now, I have no classes scheduled for the next month, and no budget for advertising. The opportunity to have 20,000 people learn about Cake 'n Crumbs through the free ad would be amazing. I would utilize that advertising space to grow my team and help other Instructors in other areas of the country book classes.

I took on this business in the hopes that my children would see that if you put your mind to something, you will be successful. This ad would really help me show my children that hard work, dedication, and perserverance pay off, and that just because I chose to stay home with them doesn't mean that I can't be successful, too.

WOW..would I love to have this opportunity. I have been looking into getting more involved in print advertising. I have spent quite a bit of money on leads and online advertising with little success, and now I am out of money to put into advertising.

I feel that I should win because I have a great opportunity for moms. My goal is to help moms find a way to stay home with thier childen. I love it when I can help another mother that is looking for a legit way to work from home.

Now that I have run out of advertising money I have to get a part time job. This breaks my heart because I want to continue my home business and be home with my daughter. This opportunity would help me soooo much in making mine and other mothers dreams come true.
