Default Missing My Budgie

I am really missing my little Budgie, Peedee. Now that I am an empty nester and grandbabes live so far away and hubby works nights, I could use his company. He was finger trained and could say a few phrases. He died of old age and was very loved.

Oh so sorry to hear that. I totally understand. Losing a pet is very hard.

I'm so sorry.

I miss my Budgie, Mechach (pronounced Me-Shack) too. He had a personality bigger than the state of Kansas. He had a huge vocabulary, and talked up a storm. He was so lovable, and always got exited to see us come home when we were out. Our cats don't do that. He thought he ruled the house, and would carry on something terrible if we were making too much noise, or if he wanted the light near him out so he could go to sleep.

He had a stroke at 7 yrs old, caused by a tumor that we couldn't even see yet. (It grew to be huge!) They biopsied the tumor, and it was non-cancerous, but still, they said he probably wouldn't live much more than six more months. He lived five more years, and died at the age of 12.

I am crying even writing all this about him, I miss him so much.
