Designer Flip-flops

Materials
Cloth ribbon,fringe or similar trim
Flip-flops with foam soles and foamor fabric straps
Low-temperature glue gun

Cut a length of trim to fit around each flip-flop sole with a half-inch overlap. Cut separate pieces of trim for the left and right sides of the foot strap. To attach the trim to the sole, evenly apply a line of hot glue to a 2-inch section of the foam,using the glue gun tip to spread it if necessary. Firmly press the end of the trim onto the glued portion so that it sticks well, then smooth it toward the unglued section.Continue gluing and pressing until you've fully circled the sole. Use the same method to attach the strap trim. Dry 1 hour. For matching summer hat, you can attach trim with a nontoxic fabric glue.
