Hawaiian Lei
Make your own Hawaiian Lei's that look great!
You need to cut colored or clear straws into 1 inch pieces. Find lots of artifical flowers, take them apart use petals and leaves. Use colors that blend nicely. Sort them out by color in five piles. Decide what kind of a pattern you want.
First: Use a small bead and tie to one end of fishing line or clear string.
Next: String on petal 1, straw, petal 2, straw, petal 3, straw, petal 4, straw, leaf, straw repeat.
I hope you get the idea. When you have made the lei as long as you want it, tie the end of the fishing line to the bead. Done
These turned out soooooo neat a bible school this year!
