Focus Day !
First off I must be blind, did not notice this area before
I know from reading posts there is at least one other Rep from TW on this forum
I was wondering what others are doing for Focus Day - I could not get anyone to have a party, as I wore them out on parties from all my Biz - we used them all for Relay for Life fundraisers - So I am trhowing a party and have send out invites with info on the $5 Mixing Bowl and also the BOGO & 40% off offers from teh monthly flyer
Have quite a few folks coming to the party, just for the Mixing bowl, but can't blame them $5 is a Good deal for Tupperware!
Again just wondring what others are doing with this

Do you enjoy selling Tupperware?  I think that is one of the things I use very often that independent contractors sell. How much comission do you make and how much money does it cost to get started?

you are too funny ?
I am using the focus day flyer and the monthly sale flyer -hosting it myself - will get some great host gift items to use for future host gifts - some items that are not avail EXCEPT for host , so that is good too! Such good deals folks are wanting to order, I am pretty excited about it!

Mary, I'm not with TW, but when I moved from NJ to PA a few years ago with my company, I found it very helpful to do the 3 Fs: fairs, festivals and fleas to help grow my business in my new town. Look in small local papers for upcoming events and check with your chamber of commerce. I also posted my business card/flyers on any announcement boards that I could find. Any kind of "walking billboard" advertising you can do to spark conversation about your business is helpful also.

Mary is right about the fairs
I have not had an actual party since Jan 05 - I do Craft Shows, Fairs, Festivals any I can find that will allow direct sales- have a 5 day county fair the end of this month
I have hung up flyers everywhere I can - Walmart, Gas Stations, Liqour Stores, Laundry Mats anywhere that has a memo board - I give out Biz cards when I go to fast food, when I pay bill at a restaruant, when I go in and pay my gas, water, cable , I ask the ladies if I could leave my card incase they ever hear someone say they need a Rep- when I send off bills I put one inside the envelope
I put an ad in the paper, did not get anything of it that i know, but they could have called later and I would not know
I had a lady call in May who had gotten my catalog last Sept and had it in a drawer - she placed a $135 order !
Look for some other direct sale/party plan Reps in your area see if they do any vendor blendors, these are great too
Send out letters for fundraisers to schools, chirches, park rec areas(softball, etc)
Make sure to have a Tupperware keychain, foks have asked me about mine and this gets things started
I have an actual Party on the 18th ! And how this lady found me I have not asked I am driving about 1-1 1/2 hours each way to get to her house, the party will be in her garage as her living room is not big enough - now it will be at 630p in July outside - I told her to at least have fans so her Rep doesn't pass out !
There are Reps in her town, this I know for certain i email with one of them - once I get to her house I will ask how she found and contacted me and not the Reps in her area
You just gotta have patience, takes awhile to get things going, it will NOT happen over night- I never believe those folks who say they made $40 k thier first year in Direct sales - or if they do it sure is NOT in Rural Missouri !
Have you had your GO Party yet? This is a great way to advertise to your neighbors. Also have a drive way party announce it and then make it a mystery host - draw a name from those who buy-
I could go on and on, but don't want to bore ya! I do tend to ramble LOL
