Am I blogging right?

In order to get people to my website? I've got wordpress. Do I need to advertise it somewhere? I'm not sure what blogging is all about. LOL

Looks good to me - have you considered changing your theme on your blog to match the rest of your site?

You can also submit your blog here Google Blog Search. My daughters American Idol stories seems to be getting hits from there. Our blog automaticaly submits there but many have to be done manually.

There are also blog directories out there where you can submit your blog and that helps provide some incoming links as well. Article marketing is another way to get links and traffic for both your website and blog. Why not add your blog link to your forum signatures? That will get you more links and probably some more traffic.
