Medications while breastfeeding????

Ok ladies, got a question for anyone that can answer it. My doc has had me on medications since friday (today is Wed)and yesterday was my last pill. I was on Zithromax, Cardec cough syrup and Ketoprofen (generic brand of Orudis)for migrains. I was wondering if i am able to nurse him today, or how long i need to wait before i can actually nurse. I didnt know if the medicatin was still in my system or not. My baby has been driving me nuts where i havent been nursing him, i know im not crazy, but he hasnt been the same since ive been bottle feeding him formula,hes been real fussy and when i hold him he cries wanting to nurse, and i feel bad cause i cant nurse him, and i want to nurse him again sooo bad,i need to know if its safe to nurse him today since yesterday was my last dosage, Is it safe??? Can i nurse him today? How long do i need to wait? i called my doc and they said wait 3-4 more days, is that just in general to be safe, or shouldi wait that long?? Some one please help me
