My first home party!!!

I am so nervous, i have my first home party and i am so nervous!!!! I shouldnt be though,I have been working so hard and now its all about to pay off!!! anyone have any ideas on how to get over my jitters????

You'll be fine! If you have a passion for your product, that will show through in your presentation - your enthusiasm will be contagious.

This post was written awhile ago!I forgot to let you know what happened,I am not with that particular candle comp. anymore but it totally bombed!I sent out 100 invites and only 5 showed!No one bought anything and it was a complete waste of products!I did eventually sell them but I was so disappointed about that party!I am happy now with the companies I am with!

Don't feel bad. I once had a business presentation, invited the VP of the company to fly in from Oklahoma to do the presentation for me, went all out on invitations, sent out a couple hundred probably - and had 1 person show up. Talk about embarr***ing.

I'm going to give it a go again, though, this time with a different company. If at first you don't succeed...

One of the keys to success in holding your own party is to treat yourself as you would any of your hosts, which means holding yourself to the same standards! Follow up is critical, so I make sure that I make reminder calls to everyone I have invited to ensure no one forgets about my home party. It really makes a difference!
