That really stinks! I think that would be a good thing to consider when looking at a company ... do they undercut their business consultants in any way???
I am a distributor with Fuller Brush and they do spots on QVC, but it helps us (not hurts) because it gets the company name out. But, they aren't products that we can't sell, and the price is the same retail as what a distributor can sell with. But, Fuller does allow Ebay selling even by active distributors ... and if you've been with the company a long time, you can sell at a lower price than some new associates recieve. That definitely hurts. For example, as a distributor, you can buy case lots at reduced prices .... and with your discount level, you might be able to buy a bottle of Fulsol off Ebay for less than my cost at a lower discount level. That stinks!
My Glass Bracelet jewelry is not advertised in any other way than through consultants. They also don't allow sales directly through the company ... just through consultants. It's a tough balance ... cause I'd love for someone to see my jewelry in a magazine ad sometimes.
Can you see why I focus on my jewelry and just keep the Fuller Brush account for occasional promoting and recruiting???
