Getting Busy ?
Not really sure what is going on, but I don't want it to stop!
I have been with TW since Nov 04- had a party Jan 05 and then another one in June(no one came to this, so really did not consider it a party)
Lately I am getting contacts from my Website (about time it is paying for itself) now I have always gotten contacts, but for the most part, people were needing to warrenty replace an item
Well a lady contacted me in June to do a catalog party now and would like to do a home party closer to the holidays - so I take the things for it - I gave her till the end of the month( she works FT , has kids and is recently divorced) well her party was almost $200 - closed anad I placed the orders on July 1st - well I delivered her items to her today - GREAT shipping!
Then in June a lady calls to set up a date for a party July 18th - I was leary for a couple of reasons-
1) there are Reps in her area, I know cause I chat with some and she is almost a 2 hr drive (to my east)1 way
2) She wants to have the invite say something about her new house that closed on June 1st - I was thinking oh this is just to get her family and friends to visit
3)because she dated so far ahead
4) she said it will have to be in the garage, cause her living room is not large enough, because she has already told alot of people she wants to have a party and they are excited as they have not been to one in a long time - she has never been to a Tup party- I thought Great they tell her they will come , but most are from he next state over, will they really show
BUT she has either called or emailed me almost EVERY day!
She sent me her list for invites(29 !)
I have sent them out- she has gotten outside orders and called to see how to place them- I explained we have to wait to order with all the party orders, so she gets credit
she at first did not want games and we can't do food demos in the garage - no water or place to cook -But I have now got her thinking, since she has asked more questions
We are playing games and we are having Blizzards- I told her July 18th in a garage is gonna be HOT & HUMID, No A/C !
I am going to get there early and we are going to make up some Blizzards ahead of time - then I will demo them and let the guests help - all the premade will get served to not take all the time- I know the guests will be ready to leace the heat, so I want to keep things moving along and get thier orders before they leave!
So I will be doing an actual party! This will be the first in a LONG time!
I just got on Thursday a contact almost 2 hrs away to my south ! This lady needs a replacement part she lost & wants to order some other things
Also a lady got one of my catalogs, Sept 05 at a Labor Day event I did, her daughter in law came across it in May in a drawer. So she called and requested a New catalog - they did a book party too!
I do not know what is going on to make this occur- but I hope it keeps up!
Just wanted to share, cause it is so strange, but yet a great feeling that things are finally moving - I worry every quarter about becoming inactive!
