I sold my first Greeting Cake today AND I have a G.C. Party on Tuesday. I just hope I get at least 2 orders!!

I'm on a roll! Today I emailed every photographer I could get their address of and emailed them about the cakes being good wedding gifts and promotional items.
Then today I started talking to a lady where my son was playing and gave her a brochure! I'm not shy at all.... unless it's a stranger. So big hurdle for me to overcome!

the party got moved to next Thursday, so we're still holding our breath. However, I have MORE good news. I may have sold a cake today at a meeting I went to. I'm just waiting to hear back from them. Plus, I met someone else in their office who said their wife loves having home parties and may be interested.

On top of that, I'm overcoming my shyness with strangers and giving out my busines card with little trinkets!

Surprise! nobody showed. Seems to be just my luck. The hostess said that she expects a lot in catalog sales though. It's just she didn't know that some of the people she had invited were already going to a Simply Fun party and some of the others were going to an Usborne books party.

So now we wait to see if they order.
