Not all of my comments were directed at this board...but at other forum boards.

However, there are times that a pop up ad is occurring here and its NOT my computer. Others who come here get them too.

Its nice to see you are still around here on the forum way too often these days forum owners slap up a forum and then abandon it.

The only pop up type things I have gotten here are the blue highlighted key word that give a little ad when you mouse over them. I seldom ever get a pop up on any site.

As for time as Admin - I fully understand! I have an SN site that I have to copy & paste EVERY email address & sometimes double check with username into Google to see what comes up & determine if it is a spam bot. Even if it comes up OK, the 1st day I redo it in about 3 days because by then it may start showing up, depending on what order they hit my site & how Google is indexing. These are also the **** & drug crap that no one wants to see.

You also have the people that look legit & then PM everyone some kind of junk - that can mean masses of complaint mail.

If 1 gets through then you have to start deleting post, delete account from the main site & the forum. That can all take hours a day.

For these reasons our new community will have a monthly fee. I have had it with not being able to do anything except delete. I know that many boards are starting to go this route for the same reason. We have a programmer building the softwear & their are people waiting for us to get it going so they can get it also.

I also have people that wonder why I have not answered questions right then. It is simply a matter of not enough time that day.

On boards I do answer a post IF I have something to say. I often get called negative because I do not agree or have info that I makes me believe differently.Sometimes I do not have an answer for them or there may not be enough detail for me to give a good answer.

I only pop onto the boards when time allows. That is not often. LOL!

I do hope this gives a bit of understanding to the 1st post.

Enjoy the boards & know that many times keeping them up is much more work than popping in & posting.
