I read many networking books in my time, but I remember reading once why women are a natural for home based/direct sales businesses.
We LOVE to talk, we LOVE to socialize, and we LOVE to share. The example given was a lipstick.
Say you buy a lipstick for $3.00 at Walgreens. You put it on, and honey, you look awesome! The next friend you talk to on the phone, you will tell her that you got this great lipstick at Walgreens for $3.00, and it is just THE BEST. You don't care whether she wears lipstick, whether she needs lipstick, whether all her lipsticks cost at least $10, you don't care if she shops at Walgreens....you just know you feel great and you are going to tell the world.
There. If you can do that with the product you are trying to sell...you know, just share without trying to figure out if they will need it, like it, pay for it, etc...you will be successful.
In other words, you have to love it and not care what others will do with your sharing...let them make the decision and you just keep on floating
