Get up, kiss the kid's good-bye... be at work
by 8:30 after a 45 minute commute. No time for
lunch or a "potty break" in the day because
there's meetings and people who need this, and
oh yeah. don't forget THAT... Leave at 5:45pm,
sit in rush hour traffic. Pick up the kids from
day care LATE at 6:30 pm. Feed them fast food
because, who has time to cook! Get in the house
soon enough to kiss them all goodnight , so that
you can get up early and do it all again
tomorrow!
Why do we live our lives programmed into
thinking this is what we're "SUPPOSED" to do?
You're supposed to have a J-O-B, make someone
else rich, for a paycheck? YIKES!
I know you've
been looking for something to do from home to
generate an income. You've dreamed of working
from home but something keeps telling you that
only works for OTHER people... Or, worse yet,
you've stopped dreaming and the grind I
described in the beginning is all you think
there is.
I do have it
all. I'm a stay at home mom with 3 beautiful
daughters, 5, 7 and 8. I wake up in the
morning. Get the kids ready for school.
I eat breakfast
with them, drop in for lunch in the cafeteria
(only sometimes because cafeteria food really
lives up to the stigma!) every once in a while,
and I'm home to get them off the bus, to find
out how everyone's day was and to make dinner.
I work my Ameriplan business about 28 hours a
week (but started at 10 hours / week), and
although I wasn't earning $10K my first month,
like so many businesses promise. I have built
myself a residual income of over $100K / year on
a part time basis after 4 years in the business.
Worth it? Big hearty YES from this peanut
gallery.
If you are happy with the current road that you
are on....Pardon my intrusion, and by all
means....stay where you are. But if you are
looking for a change, seize the day. I know you
are excited, afraid, thinking of all the
business possibilities and then in the same
breath saying NAHHHH and squelching your
dreams! I've been there.
