Spray the entire outside with matte varnish spray, just enough to seal it for the paint to
adhere. Now turn pot upside down. Paint a design on the pot, hand paint, use stencils or
even sponges, on the brim I spell out Merry Christmas. Date other side 1999 or do some
personalization. Tie on a bell to the inside and string it through the whole in the top,
you can use ribbon, jute, cording, raffia, tie off for the bell, then tie off again for a
hanger.
